Michael Fleschner, 35
Director, GLC Advisors | Denver
GLC Advisors’ senior leadership predicts that Michael Fleschner likely will become one of the firm’s youngest managing directors in the next few years because of his work ethic, dedication and drive to help his clients solve complex financial issues.
Fleschner left KPMG to join former colleagues in 2016 to open GLC’s Denver office. As the only junior banker in the office, Fleschner and his colleagues built out the internal infrastructure and processes, marketed the opening of the office to new clients and led the hiring of new junior bankers — all while executing merger and acquisition mandates.
Since starting at the independent investment bank as an associate in 2016, Fleschner has quickly moved up the ranks to become vice president and now director. His successes since joining GLC include 23 completed transactions representing about $589 million in transaction/asset value.
Fleschner played a key role in GLC’s expansion into the business services and diversified industries sector and publicized the group via various marketing initiatives, speaking engagements and conferences, presenting on topics ranging from transaction preparedness and state of the market to lessons learned in the trenches.
Fleschner gives back to the community as much as a father of two with a full-time career can. He has been a regular volunteer for My Father’s House, a nonprofit transitional housing community that provides men on parole with safe, decent, affordable housing and a community of support. He also is a regular guest lecturer for the University of Denver-Daniels College of Business Strategic Finance course, giving students an inside look at investment banking and what it takes to succeed.
