Lynn Granger, 34

Executive Director | Colorado Petroleum Council

Colorado native Lynn Granger knows how much the state’s residents cherish its natural beauty, so she set out to tell the story of the energy industry’s sustainable environmental stewardship.

Granger joined Colorado Petroleum Council from Colorado Concern, where she led operational and strategic execution for the organization, supporting legislative candidates and statewide policies. Previously, she was the communications director for the Colorado Department of Revenue, where she served as the department’s subject matter expert and primary media liaison.

Granger began her career in the U.S. Army, where she served as strategic communications adviser to the Commander of United States Army Europe.

Under Granger’s leadership, the Colorado Petroleum Council emphasizes and celebrates the role of non-traditional employees in the energy industry, hosting and sponsoring numerous events throughout the year that celebrate women, minorities, and the LGBTQ community’s presence in the energy industry. She oversees the Colorado Petroleum Council’s charitable efforts toward STEM education, traveling across the state to host events that promote opportunities in math and science for students. Granger volunteers at the Food Bank of the Rockies and Comcast’s annual “Comcast Cares” effort.
