Meet the Denver employees who are the new partners and principals, as voted by the RSM board of directors

RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced the promotion of four individuals to partner and principal from the Denver office, effective January 1, 2021.

Denver employees voted by the RSM board of directors as new partners and principals include:

Steve Biskie – Steve joined RSM in 2017. He currently leads RSM’s Automation Center of Excellence within Risk Consulting. Steve has been working in audit, compliance and IT risk management for over 25 years.

His experience includes public accounting, private industry and specialized risk management consulting firms across a variety of industries including consumer products, life sciences, financial services, and technology. Steve is a thought leader in the audit analytics and continuous monitoring space, and has helped both compliance and audit functions at some of the largest organizations in the world implement sustainable technology-enabled programs.

He has authored numerous articles and audit analytics, was the lead reviewer for the “Workbook for a Successful Audit Analytics Program,” developed and teaches data analytics and SAP system auditing courses for the MIS Training Institute.

He is a five-time Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) All-Star speaker on topics related to analytics and automation of audit processes. Steve will be working as a principal in risk consulting effective January 1, 2021.

Danny Collins – Danny joined RSM in 2007. He is an experienced business advisor who helps middle-market organizations grow while evaluating and managing their operational, financial, technology, and compliance risks and opportunities.

He is responsible for planning and overseeing the fieldwork on projects for private and publicly owned clients. His thorough knowledge of organizational risks and internal controls, combined with a wide range of experiences, serves to help companies identify and address their risks across many industries, including financial services, technology, consumer products, and business and professional services.

Danny serves as the Rocky Mountain regional leader for risk consulting services and specializes in addressing business and technology risks, System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports, internal audits, data analytics and IT controls. Danny will be working as a partner in risk consulting effective January 1, 2021.

John Rush – John joined RSM in 2016. He has spent over 10 years focused on cloud software development, system integration and working with clients to design scalable software solutions.

For the past 5 years, John has customized and optimized NetSuite implementations for clients, serving as RSM’s national leader of NetSuite development for the Application Development and Integration team.

He has worked to customize solutions for a wide range of industries, including finance, retail, service, distribution and manufacturing. John will be working as a principal in technology consulting effective January 1, 2021.

Liz Williams – Liz joined RSM in 2006. She has more than 14 years of public accounting experience providing audit services to private companies in various industries, many of which are portfolio companies owned by private equity firms.

She spends the majority of her time focused on the real estate industry, and has experience serving clients with a broad range of asset classes and entity structures. Liz also provides audit services to professional services entities, and provides benefit plan audit services to a variety of different clients.

In addition to her client duties, Liz leads the firm’s STAR employee network group for the central region. STAR supports the advancement and retention of women by promoting advocacy, mentorship and providing professional development to our employees. Liz will be working as a partner in audit services effective January 1, 2021.
